Welcome to Libby’s Outdoor Community Garden, where green thumbs unite to cultivate a vibrant and sustainable oasis in the heart of Monticello. Our community garden is more than just a patch of soil – it's a thriving ecosystem of organic growth, shared knowledge, and a celebration of nature's bounty.

We believe in fostering a sense of community, promoting sustainable practices, and reconnecting with nature. Whether you're an experienced gardener or just starting your green journey, our community welcomes you. 

We will have 8 - 10x10 plots to reserve and 6 - 12x24 plots available.

10x10= $30

12x24=$40


Start date: May 1-October 31



Application

Community Garden Information

  • Plots assigned in late  April
  • Early Registration is encouraged
  • Onsite compost bins for community use
  • Water available for use
  • One plot per household
  • No pesticides or herbicides
  • Keep site clean, pick up trash
  • No smoking
  • No stealing from other plots (even if it appears to be going to waste)
  • No pets
  • Keep an eye on kids/guests you may bring with you
  • No booze, drugs, fires, loud music or weapons
  • Follow dawn to dusk rule
